I realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor my therapy to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things in a different, healthier way.
Please read below and learn more about what I provide, and let me know if any of these services would be helpful to you.
As a licensed therapist I can come alongside individuals, couples and families as they experience trauma and difficulty in life.
Face-to-Face or Virtual?
Our current situation has required us all to be more flexible that we are comfortable with, and receiving counseling services is no exception. I am able to provide face-to-face counseling as well as virtual telehealth services. At different points during the last year, I have had to move my services entirely online due to health mandates. My commitment is to offer face-to-face services for those who prefer as long as I can while protecting clients and myself adequately. For those who prefer virtual sessions, I am fully able to do so (and have gone through extensive training to be certified as a TeleMental Health provider).

Counselors & Their Style
What should you look for in a counselor? A good fit.
All counselors have their style, their training, their personality. Just like no two clients are exactly alike, no two therapists are either. Ask enough questions to get a sense of ‘Is this a good fit for me?’ And if it isn’t, I encourage you to ‘call it what it is’ and be honest with your therapist.
How would I describe my approach or “style” in counseling? My approach is very practical – we need to define what we are working on, where we want to go in treatment, and how we will know when we get there. Beyond that, if I were to pick a few terms that describe me and my approach, they might be:
- Solution-oriented… I want to seek solutions, with the confidence that this process will bring about hope, healing, and transformation in your life.
- Relational… I believe life happens in relationship – the relationships between our thoughts, feelings and actions, as well as the various relationships you have in your life.
- Collaborative… For counseling to work, it will have to be a partnership between us. I will not impose my expectations and viewpoints upon you, and at the same time I will seek to encourage and hold you accountable to the goals we set.
Enrichment & Growth
Not every difficulty in life needs clinical therapy. Sometimes we need encouragement and support, accountability and challenge, and we need it from somewhere new. If this sounds like a good fit, I offer the following services:
Soul Care (click to learn more) – services designed to help individuals become more aware of and sensitive to a spiritual presence in day to day life.
Workshops & Trainings (click to learn more) – in addition to individuals, couples and families, I enjoy working with groups as well. This could be a retreat, or perhaps a leadership consultation, that could serve your group’s needs.
